Mobile headlight restoration in Ashford and surrounding villages — covering TN23 through TN27. We cover Ashford town, Kennington, Willesborough, Kingsnorth, Hamstreet and the surrounding rural areas, restoring cloudy headlights at your home or workplace.
Ashford is a major commuter town thanks to its high-speed rail link, and a lot of the local cars do heavy motorway mileage on the M20 — both factors that take a toll on headlight lenses. We do a lot of work here on cars where the rest of the vehicle is in great condition but the yellowing headlights are making it look older than it is. Quick fix, big cosmetic uplift.
Kennington, Willesborough, Kingsnorth, Hamstreet, Wye, Charing, Pluckley, Bethersden, Mersham, Sellindge, Smeeth, Bilsington.
Modern headlights are made from polycarbonate plastic with a thin UV-protective coating on the outside. After a few years, that coating breaks down — leaving the lens to oxidise in the sun. The result is the cloudy, yellow or hazy look you see on most cars over 4 or 5 years old.
We don't just polish the surface. Our process removes the damaged oxidised layer entirely with multiple grades of wet-sanding, then machine-polishes the lens back to optical clarity, then seals it with a UV ceramic coating to stop the damage coming back. The sealant is included with every job as standard — most other restorers charge extra for it.
Pricing depends on the vehicle and the state of the lenses. The quickest way to get a price is to send us a couple of photos on WhatsApp — we'll get back to you within minutes with a fixed quote and the next available slot in Ashford.
