Headlight restoration in Gravesend and the wider Gravesham borough — covering DA11, DA12 and DA13. We cross the Dartford Crossing regularly and cover Gravesend town, Northfleet, Higham, Meopham and Istead Rise, restoring cloudy headlights at your home or workplace.
Gravesend sees a real mix of vehicles — local family cars, commuters running into London on the high-speed line, and a strong contingent of older cars where headlight oxidation has had years to set in. Whatever the case, we'll do the proper multi-stage restoration on your driveway in around an hour and include the UV ceramic sealant as standard.
Northfleet, Higham, Meopham, Istead Rise, Cobham, Vigo, Shorne, Cliffe, Chalk, Denton.
Modern headlights are made from polycarbonate plastic with a thin UV-protective coating on the outside. After a few years, that coating breaks down — leaving the lens to oxidise in the sun. The result is the cloudy, yellow or hazy look you see on most cars over 4 or 5 years old.
We don't just polish the surface. Our process removes the damaged oxidised layer entirely with multiple grades of wet-sanding, then machine-polishes the lens back to optical clarity, then seals it with a UV ceramic coating to stop the damage coming back. The sealant is included with every job as standard — most other restorers charge extra for it.
Pricing depends on the vehicle and the state of the lenses. The quickest way to get a price is to send us a couple of photos on WhatsApp — we'll get back to you within minutes with a fixed quote and the next available slot in Gravesend.
